Tilt Tag: A Multiperformance Theater

Boston, MA

Professor: Tosin Odugbemi

Studio 04 | Spring 2024

Tilt Tag is an encompassing multiperformance theater that blends the indifferences of lower community art with higher cultured art. Fascinated by the idea of bridging art and the environment through community engagement, a new world can be found in shared spaces.

Reflecting on Boston’s graffiti, issues where people are looking for love and understanding indicates the well-being of human lives; on a compartively less bearing side, the use of graffiti is a binding tool that connects a community through public canvases.

Culmination points exist at intersections of public interaction and are highlighted by the interior graffiti walls. Utilizing definitions of multilayered facades, visual curiosity ruminates within the community to explore the fabric of the building and leave their artistic touches.
